JCGV Chatbot: Privacy Policy

Yammobots Co., Ltd ("we") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.


This policy (together with our terms and conditions for legal professionals and users using the chatbot and its features, together the “Terms of Use”) applies to your use of:

  • The JCGV Chatbot mobile application software (“Chatbot”) available on once you have downloaded or streamed a copy of the Chatbot onto your mobile telephone or handheld device.
  • Any of the services accessible through the Chatbot.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information about you is collected and recorded during your use of the Chatbot, and what we do with that information. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.


We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us: You may give us information about you by filling in forms in the Chatbot, submitting feedback or ideas for improvement via the Chatbot or by corresponding with us via the Chatbot. The information you give us may include your name, identifying photo, contact details, username, password and other personal information. If you give us information about another person, you confirm that they have consented to our use of their information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • Information we collect about you and your device. Each time you use the Chatbot we may automatically collect the following information:
    • technical information, including the type of mobile device you use, a unique device identifier (for example, your device's IMEI number, the MAC address of the device’s wireless network interface, or the mobile phone number used by the device), mobile network information, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile browser you use or time zone setting;
    • details of your use of any of the Chatbot and the resources that you access; and
    • a record of your correspondence with us.
  • Location information. We also use GPS technology to determine your current location. Some of our location-enabled services require your personal data for the feature to work. If you wish to use the particular feature, you will be asked to consent to your data being used for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by way in which consent can be withdrawn.
  • Information we receive from other sources (Third Party Information). We are working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors, analytics providers, search information providers). We will notify you when we receive information about you from them and the purposes for which we intend to use that information.


We use cookies to distinguish you from other users of the Chatbot or Chatbot Site. This helps us to improve the services that we provide you on the Chatbot. Detailed information on the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them is as follows:


We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • to recognise you as an Chatbot user;
  • to provide you with the Chatbot services, such as to enable you to query information of showtime, cinema and to buy the ticket online;
  • to inform you about, and allow you to participate in activities in the Chatbot, for example by notifying you about improvements currently being implemented by us;
  • to respond to any comments or questions you may have and to the feedback you submit via the Chatbot; and
  • to generate statistics, analyse usage and navigation within the Chatbot, to administer the Chatbot and for internal operations, so we can improve the Chatbot and present content in the most effective manner for you and your device.

We may associate any category of information with any other category of information and will treat the combined information as personal data in accordance with this policy for as long as it is combined.


We may disclose some or all of the data we collect from you when you download or use the Chatbot to other organisations in the partnership that collaborated to produce the Chatbot to review your feedback and implement any necessary follow-up.

  • it is necessary in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use or to investigate potential breaches, or protect our rights, property or safety;
  • we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets if necessary; or
  • it is necessary to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request.

We may engage third parties to operate the Chatbot or provide other specific functions in relation to the Chatbot, who may be provided with access to your information in order to perform their specific functions.

We may sell, share or otherwise transfer information about users of the Chatbot in an anonymous or aggregate form with third parties, including advertisers, business partners, and sponsors, for the purposes of, without limitation, understanding trends and patters and managing and improving our commercial and other relationships.


The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at servers in Singapore It will also be processed by staff who work for us or our suppliers. These staff may be engaged in the provision of services to you via the Chatbot. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Chatbot; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.


The Chatbot may, from time to time, contain links to and from third party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites and any services that may be accessible through them have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected through these websites or services, such as contact and location data. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites or use these services.


Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you when you next start the Chatbot. The new terms may be displayed on-screen and you may be required to read and accept them to continue your use of the Chatbot or the Services.
